gala, sean and maya, abrar, willy and zakia came down for the day.
which was really lovely.

i cooked.
abrar tried to teach me some bass guitar.
while us adults ate lunch together our children played together.
i had a moment.

this duck spent most of the day looking at himself in the chrome bumper of the perou-mobile.
which at first we thought was vanity.

until we realised that his wife (mohair) had been missing all day.

after an exhaustive search, she FINALLY turned up, freaked out and quacking loudly.
no idea where she'd been all day.
maybe sitting on eggs?
