why do bees die?

i thought i was going to be retouching michael palin for most of the day
but it was over quickly, and painlessly.

spent more of the day chainsawing through 12yer old self seeded trees in the orchard.

punctuated by a 4 mile bike ride, accross the marsh to the newly reopened local pub, for lunch.

and now i am trying to stay awake for an important call from the states...
