poppy
when i was shooting helen mirren the other day, her agent was saying she was having trouble growing poppies in her garden.
we're having trouble keeping them at bay.
but i LOVE them.
up at 5.30am thinking about ryan gosling (and not the way most people seem to)
the shoot we're doing is pretty involved: the creative direction coming from him, me, DC and MN at the magazine.
spent a while retouching my 'jessie j' pictures.
which is NOT the same as touching up 'jessie j' as has been suggested.
but retouching IS a stragely (one-sided) intimate thing to do with/to someone as you're seeing people in extreme close up, at times: seeing lines in skin, scars etc.
detail that most people don't see.
i don't want to sound like a pervert or nuffin.
just a phenomenon of retouching.
on our shoot jessie asked me to make sure i retouched out her camel toe if it was showing.
it wasn't.
but this is all part of the service.
poor frances retouched THIS picture (NSFW) back in the day and at 300% magnification said there was a scratch on the neg...but on closer inspection the scratch had a drip at one end and came from the guy's...ur...well, let's just say he was enjoying being photographed by me.
oh...
spent lunchtime asleep in bed.
spent the rest of the day adding content to the new perou.co.uk site.
things will be simplified, hopefully.
beauty in minimalism.
