mrs.perou and z went back to london town to pick up maximum while i stayed at farm to work in the freezing cold office.
the underfloor heating has packed up again.
2nd time this winter.
last time it was a pump on the boiler.
this time it might be a valve...that can't be fixed till 6th jan earliest.
it will be a cold start to 2012.
it is also a cold end to 2011: man flu is knocking on the door.
my sister from japan, nanaco was due to arrive at the dover ferry terminal at 4pm
she missed two ferries in a row and arrived at 7pm
left the farm late and sped through heavy winds and rain in the mini-peroumobile, aquaplaning spectacularly along the way, tensing butt cheeks and uttering the words 'holy fuck' as i was going sideways one way and then the next.
nanaco hasn't been in the uk for 10years.
and hasn't aged a day...unlike me.
so good to see her in person.
stayed up late catching up and listening to music.
