left koh tao early on the cat...er...merignue to koh samui

the boat was an hour and a half late.

lucky we decided to start the journey home a day early.

i took seasick pills.

maximum was fine engrossed in an ipad game

z said he didn't need seasick pills

1 full sickbag later...

checked into a weird motel we'd been recommended.

and went for a LONG walk / taxi ride for an elusive restaurant that we'd also been recommended.

did get to stop by the big buddha shrine on our way round in circles.

people were encouraged to bang the bells in the tower.

sons did three circuits of bells.

beautiful sounds: so differrent to english bells.

mum-mum and dad-dad (the cam penologists) would have loved it too.

last bit of sea at sunset

ze holiday is ALMOST over.

just a night stopping over in koh samui and the long haul home.

i will not be changing my thai bhat's back to pounds sterling: we know we'll be coming here again as soon as possible.

for all the draaaaama and stress we've enjoyed together, at least we've been together.

and it's been a WONDERFUL break.
