the prison here, where political prisoners were kept up till 1984 was GRIM but worth a visit.

prisoners werelocked up for 23hrs of the day in solitary.  

they were suposed to be only held like this for up to 30 days but some prisoners spent as long as a year here.

on each of the cell doors, there is scratched graffiti from prisoners...
