enjoy christmas in december

walked dogs across the marsh.

did the weekly food shoppe in tescos and hated seeing the christmas stock already on the shelves: it's still summer: we haven't even had the next corporate/commercial adventure (halloween) yet.

i like to enjoy christmas in december: the whole month of it.

leaving tescos, i noticed the house opposite already had father chistmas and reindeer effigies out on their lawn.

considered stopping to smash them to pieces.

fortunately the sun was still shining and i had frozen food to return to a freezer.

free range, organic roast chicken for sunday lunch, as usual.

something unthinkable just a few years ago when all water in the kenyan slums was carrying cholera and typhoid etc...
