black spot day
things just kept going wrong today.
i cannot be bothered to detail them all (at all): having to re-live / re-waste life going over the badness again.
realising this amount of sustained wrong must be celestial, i turned to my spanish lady friend saying 'i BET it's a black spot day'
a black spot day, by my definition, is the exact opposite of a full moon.
the day on a lunar calendar denoted by nothingness.
if i am energised and empowered (often unwillingly) by a full moon, the no moon is ALWAYS the day when 'things' seem to conspire against me.
we checked the lunar calendar and sure enough, it is a black spot day, spot on.
'i can't believe how effected you are by the moon you are, but i can see you are' said my spanish lady friend.
there was some good news today.
took che to moorfield's eye hospital and back.
he will probably not lose his eye and the ulcer on his eye, that is now going away, will not burst his eyeball.
a man FINALLY delivered some metal cupboards for storage in durty-alley
and we discovered one cupboard full of someone's old stamp collection.
one of the filing cabinets is full still, but locked: we will drill out the lock tomorrow.
maximum phoned me for the first time, from his school, at lunchtime and while i was asking him how things were going he said 'i'm actually phoning to ask how YOUR day is going'
moments like this i will always cherish.
z had his first day at his new primary school: we've swopped him out from his last, and he had a great day and made friends.
we told him if he went in with a good attitude he'd have a good time and he did.
phew
had dinner with JSR, some label-mate photographers and 40 JSR clients, right under the old building in de beauvoir that link leisure and david cabaret used to live in twenty years ago when i first met them.
and the building i first partied with abrar and brian on the roof of and texting my new girlfriend (not yet mrs.perou) in ibiza.
had amazing fine wines and good conversations.
tried to avoid sounding like a hippie, talking about the black spot day and people in mukuru, man.
