getting fucked over and pissed upon
(photo: clara maidment)
more on today, tomorrow
too tired to write now
it's a miracle no-one died or got seriously injured.
we worked through the torrential rain and 37mph winds (on fully extended 45ft high cranes that shouldn't be operated in winds over 25mph)
we were pleased to miss the lightning.
it was very sunny yesterday
there was a great red sky tonight and i assume it will be a sunny day tomorrow.
mrs.perou said 'what a fluke today's weather was'
but i'm not a 'flukeist', i'm a fatalist and thus i think some higher force has been fucking with me today.
i could have been SO much easier.
we did of course, despite everything, still get great shots and shot a short film.
it's no acceptance speech, but more than usual, some people need to get thankyou'd.
MASSIVE thanks to:
mike and everyone at aces high
david mc allister and everyone at dunsfold
and the very generous nationwide lifts
keir and blacksmoke
my crew for the day deserve HUGE praise for their efforts and greatness, also without whom today's herculean attempt would not have been possible.
