i bet you dont look good on this dance floor
i was going to put a picture of a pile of torn up floorboards here with some comment about being sad to have to rip out the sprung, maple, ballroom floor

here's views from the cellar: once the dance floor of BLADES nite-club, circa 1973
apparently BLADES was the place where people from faversham got together with people from sittingbourne to stab out their differences
an appropriate name for a club that got shut down after 3 years for all the knife action.
people have asked us if the georgian slate still rests on the shelves in our cellar
no: we don't even have the shelves
what we do have is a broken (empty) gun cupboard (every good nite-club needs a gun cupboard) and the original (to the 1980's) broken aquarium.
don't swim with the fishes, dance with them
and for the record, the legendary sprung maple ballroom floor is not sprung and it never has been
