back at house

tried to repair a collapsed gutter

removed a load of dead and live ivy trying to get in from outside

cleared more of the garden

started stripping wood chip paper off the walls in maximum and z's rooms

can't use a regular steam paper stripper (it would blow off the plaster): have to soak with cold water and scrape with a scraper

its a long, knackering and laborious task

did a quarter of maximum's room and returned to temporary accommodation with a numb thumb
