a little bit of great britain
marilyn manson once (jokingly?) asked me 'what's so great about britain?'
apart from all the ancient history, castles etc.. there is this countryside.
i'm told the big sur is the 8th wonder of the world, but parts of cornwall remind me of that west coast of america: rugged and breath-takingly beautiful.
i LOVE it here.

lock ness monsters
(photo: mrs.perou)
i (deliberately) forgot my wetsuit
which i could have done with today.
i'm kicking myself i didn't bring my snorkel and mask: the water at palace cove was so clear.
and not too cold.
it's peak summer season and we are almost the only people here.
i discovered one of the other two people at the cove when a young lady, wearing bra and knickers, appeared as i was boldly swapping pants for swimming trunks.
