life in the fast lane
dropped in on XL records with my book.
which was refreshing: haven't been to a record company with my wares for a long while.
it was also refreshing to hear stereolab's 'emperor tomato ketchup' pumping out of XL's soundsystem: great soundtrack for a portfolio show.
i photographed the wonderful 'stereolab' for dazed and confused in 1995 (when i was still working as a studio assistant at corsham street: click studios) and then again for their press session.
after seeing XL, drove to hammersmith getting late for my next meeting in a shat-nav moment: directed to perpetually drive round and round hammersmith roundabout.
had a PPM (pre-production meeting) with UKtv and RedBee re: the billboards etc. i'm shooting for them after the weekend.
the view north from the 8th floor of UKtv's offices is stunning.
i never knew there was such a great panorama of north west london to be had from hammersmith.
RTF through heavy rain and arrived home in the sun, for a naughts and crosses marathon with the younger son.
