some windows can't be cleaned

no matter how hard you scrub with distilled vinegar

almost everything looks better through a dirty window though

(lime) mortar attack

some widows can be cleaned: you just need the mortar to stop raining

but it's worth it

the brickwork at the back of the house looks SO handsome now

pointing in lime might be the most expensive, durty, time consuming job but its making us and the house happy

shame the next most needed side for pointing is railway side and won't be seen by people unless they're passing by on train

by the time we finish, we hope to repoint ALL the house and the yard wall which is falling apart
